on being a mom

being a mother is the greatest fulfillment. it's the greatest thing that ever happened to me. have read this quote before, I just can't remember where.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother... never.
The mother is absolutely something new.
